CREATE YOUR PROFILE FOR THE FESTIVAL
Show your talent and interests to the other festival participants!
El Atlas is a web-based tool for showcasing your skills and encouraging interaction. During the festival, it will also be the application used to manage portfolio reviews, as well as the platform where applicants to professional workshops can demonstrate that they have the skills required by the workshop instructors.
In addition, for users with a Mercado pass, it will be the application where they can showcase their company and express their interests and priorities for business meetings during the festival. If you have a Mercado pass, go here to see specific instructions.
How to create your profile
We are constantly improving the tool, so if you haven't logged in for a couple of years, you'll see that it is easier to use and has new features for editing and organizing your material.
If you've never used it before, simply log in to elatlas.mx using the email address and password you use for the festival.
The system will guide you through creating your profile and uploading your work to showcase your talent. If this does not happen automatically, in the menu in the upper-right corner you will find the link to start creating your profile.
If you had already started your profile or had created one for another event, the system will show you what you had uploaded so that you can edit and/or update it.
Portfolio reviews
If you have participated in other events that use Atlas, you will already know the procedure, but if you've never done it before, the process is very simple.
As the festival dates approach, a section will appear where you can see the portfolio review opportunities offered by companies or mentors. There you will find the profile that each mentor is looking for in portfolio reviews. Identify those that best match your skills and request a review of your Atlas profile.
If your profile matches the level or style defined by the mentors or recruiters, they will schedule a meeting with you during the festival, and you will receive an email notification with the date and time.
IMPORTANT: to request these reviews, you must have your profile on Atlas with uploaded work that corresponds to the skills they are looking for, which you define when uploading each piece of work.
During the festival, we will have in-person portfolio reviews that will be scheduled in the days leading up to the festival or even during its first few days, so keep an eye on your email!

Professional workshops
Some workshops require participants to have a certain level of skill or experience in order to participate. If this is the case, Atlas will also be the tool used to select participants. So it is important that you have created your profile. See more details in this article.
