About Casa del Autor Zapopan

Casa del Autor Zapopan is an artistic residency program following the French model La Maison Des Auters in Angoulême, which has become an international benchmark for Comics.

The facilities of Casa del Autor Zapopan have all the necessary equipment to develop graphic and audiovisual stories, as well as classrooms for courses, the infrastructure to produce fanzines, a workshop open to the public, a library, a meeting room, and other spaces for creativity.

In addition, it has a program for national and foreign residents, offering access to the network of international allies for the development and promotion of the projects of those who participate.

It is linked to La Maison Des Auters in Angoulême, which has become an international benchmark for Comics.

And although its goal is to foster the creation of graphic narrative works, comics, digital animation, and video game development, it simultaneously seeks to create an urban core of creative and cultural activities.
