Hugo Merino Mejía is a sound designer, audio producer, and music producer with over 15 years of experience in the audio industry. His work spans post-production, mixing, sound design, and scoring for animation, television, advertising, and digital content, featuring projects for global brands such as L'Oréal, Nestlé, and Mastercard, as well as channels like Cartoon Network and Discovery Kids. He is the founder and Sound Design Director of Lateral Audio Workshop and has served as Lead Sound Designer at Mister Machin and Audio Producer at Craft Worldwide. His work has been recognized with the "Best Use of Animation in a Campaign" award at the Napolitan Awards (2024) and through official selections at international film festivals. As a music producer at NWLA, he managed music releases and live performances across Mexico and Latin America. He also taught Sound Design at the Universidad de Artes Digitales in Guadalajara.
