Visual Artist and Illustrator | Mexico

Mexican artist, my work focuses on nature and is greatly inspired by mythology and science.

As an artist, I enjoy moving between different professional areas: from creating traditional pieces as a visual artist (having exhibited in galleries across Mexico, the United States, Belgium, and Canada), to working as a freelance illustrator on editorial and commercial projects. On skin as a tattoo artist, with more than 12 years of experience, and finally, in animation projects, supporting visual development and storytelling.

I greatly enjoy sharing and learning from my own and others’ creative processes, with a continuous curiosity about what makes us create and how we do it. This has led me to enjoy theory and teaching, working as a professor of art fundamentals in animation and concept art programs, as well as teaching online workshops and courses.
