The Universe in the Seed – Stop-motion and biodiversity
“The Universe in a Seed” is a stop-motion animated short film currently being produced by Ancestral Cine in co-production with El Taller del Chucho. The story follows the adventures of Lupi, a Mexican wolf who wants to reclaim his forest.
How can film transform the way we view species that we have learnt to fear, reject or regard as undesirable? In this talk, we will reflect on the potential of animation to contribute to the conservation of biodiversity and encourage us to observe, narrate and relate to other species in different ways.
