Crafting Alien Worlds
Jon Juarez is one of the minds behind the most mind bending universes in modern science fiction. Working from the mountains of San Sebastian, this self taught artist has carved a fascinating path that spans from publishing independent comics to designing speculative futures and his award winning work on the film Another Day of Life. Recently nominated for an Annie Award for his extraordinary production design on the hit series Scavengers Reign, Jon is here to break down his creative process step by step. In this session, you will discover how to intertwine pure illustration with production design to build organic, believable, and visually stunning ecosystems that can support absolutely any narrative.
