Build your first Stop Motion set

This introductory workshop in Zapopan is designed to highlight the spirit of community and the magic of creating universes for animation using 100% accessible materials. Delve into the fascinating world of stop motion by building your own miniature room. You will learn the basic principles to design, texturize, and assemble a mini diorama, discovering how to transform simple cutouts into a set ready to come to life in front of the camera.

The heart of our community
Taught by one of our talented graduates from the Highly Specialized Production Workshop (TAE) program and a 2026 Festival volunteer, this session demonstrates that we build Pixelatl together and that knowledge is shared. It is the ideal space to lose the fear of manual creation, connect with other enthusiasts, and take your first steps in the industry within our free programming.
