Santiago Moyao

Illustrator and Comic Artist | Mexico

Santiago Moyao is an illustrator and comic artist from Mexico City, and a graduate of the Communications program at Universidad Iberoamericana. He won the 2021 Young Graphic Novel Award with his graphic novel Mandrágora, which was published in 2023 by Tierra Adentro and the Fondo de Cultura Económica. He has been awarded the Young Creators grant in the graphic narrative category in 2019 and 2022, and was a resident at Casa del Autor Zapopan and at the Maison des Auteurs in Angoulême, France, in 2024. His illustrations have been published in outlets such as Revista Gatopardo, La Revista de la Universidad de México, and The Harvard Review.
