Julián Sánchez is an animation producer and director with over 15 years of experience in the audiovisual industry. Co-founder and general producer of the Colombian studio Dinamita Animación, he has worked on international productions for HBO, Warner Bros., NBC, Adult Swim, Netflix, and Cartoon Network.

He has held various roles in animation production, including animation supervisor, director, digital compositor, screenwriter, and executive producer. His credits include work on series such as Rick and Morty and Animals, as well as the production of regional and international projects like Las Crónicas Elefantiles and Frailejón Ernesto Pérez y la Gota más Pura. He has also contributed to feature films such as Buñuel in the Labyrinth of the Turtles, The Other Shape, and Mu-Ki-RA.

In academia, he has taught in animation programs at the National University of Colombia, Jorge Tadeo Lozano University, and LCI Veritas (Costa Rica), fostering the connection between university education and professional practice.

His work spans from short films to feature-length productions, with a focus on independent animation, visual exploration, and the promotion of Latin American narratives as a distinctive value in the global landscape.
