Andrea Paredes is an illustrator and comic creator from Guanajuato. She has more than 6 years of experience in the publishing sector and digital journalism. Finalist in the 2024 edition of the Pictoline Illustration Biennial. First place in Secuenciarte 2024 with her work “Xolo”. Resident at Casa del Autor in 2026. Her work is inspired by Mexican culture, pre-Hispanic mythology, and magical realism. Through color, nature, and wonder, she seeks to express everyday life and emotions that are difficult for her to put into words.
