Getse Pérez
Director and Storyboard Artist | Mexico
Getse Pérez is a director and storyboard artist. After years working in political communications, she was drawn to animation as a self-taught artist. Her first collaboration as a storyboard artist was on Camille, nominated for an Ariel Award in 2024 in its category. She has also worked for Mighty Animation, Demente, Huevocartoon, and Moira Animation, on La Vida Secreta de tu mente (HBO, 2022), The Casagrandes: The Movie (Netflix, 2023), as well as several independent short films in Latin America. She is currently directing her debut short film, Ay Mijo, selected for Shortway 2025 and supported by the Mexican Film Promotion Program of IMCINE and Filma Jalisco in the “local industry” category.
