Produce Your Pilot with Ideatoon
| Open Calls | 2025 |
Ideatoon is a strategy designed to promote animated series and feature film projects from Latin America. It is widely recognized internationally, and its results include the signing of at least 80 option or service agreements, the production of 16 television pilots, and the production of 7 properties (some already successfully released and others yet to premiere).
As part of the strategy, this year the Ideatoon Bootcamp returns: a highly specialized intensive event featuring international producers and mentors, hands-on practice sessions, pitching opportunities, and networking spaces.
Selected participants also receive an Ideatoon pass to attend the Pixelatl Festival 2026, as well as participation in a pitch session with producers from international distribution companies. The winning project receives financial support to produce its teaser or pilot, along with accreditation to Cartoon Springboard to present the project before European channel executives and investors.
But that’s not all! Simply by submitting a project, participants receive a Creator 1-Day pass for the festival, which allows them to publish their creator profile on the festival portal, and all non-selected projects will be entitled to a mentoring session with an international mentor, where they will receive feedback to help improve their project.
