We now have the selected projects for the Jalisco is World Cup call!

A committee made up of members of Ciudad Creativa and Pixelatl reviewed all submissions and chose the projects that will be produced as part of Ciudad Creativa Conecta.

Many projects were received with very attractive concepts and high quality, so the following criteria were used for the final selection:

Concept: that it was attractive and coherent with the objectives of the call, about the identity of Jalisco as a World Cup host. Story: Above all, that it was fully developed in the bible that was submitted. Art: That it had appealing and striking artwork. Feasibility: that it was achievable by the assigned team within the time and according to the budget (the committee considered that some projects were too complex for a one- or two-minute piece, given the budget and/or production schedule). Studio track record: Previous work by the studios was reviewed. Participation in Ciudad Creativa initiatives: As an additional criterion, the participation and collaboration of the studios in previous Ciudad Creativa initiatives was taken into account.

The selected projects were: * Football in the Blood, directed by René Castillo, Wozom Studios
* What Is a Ball?, directed by Carlos Gaxiola, Demente Animation Studio
* The Long Road, directed by Pablo Orta and Christian Pincheira, Mighty Animation
* The Mariachi and Football, directed by Jonathan Guzmán, Polar Studio
