The award for Experimental Short Film went to Aferrado, by Esteban Azuela.

The special Eso que nos Une Award went to Snow bear by Aaron Blaise

The Chinelo Award for Animated Short Film by a Mexican School Student gave an honorable mention to the short film Un siglo by Héctor Eduardo Paniagua Torres

The winning short film in the Mexican School Student category was Yopo by Abril Gomez Avendaño and Amaranta Verdugo Montero

Comic of the Year
The Chinelo Award for Mexican Comic of the Year went to Un cuerpo de miel by Luis Castillejos.

The Chinelo Game of the Year Award went to Dig! Dig! Dino! published by: Panic

Ideatoon Award
The Ideatoon Award included the Ventana Sur Special Mention, which went to the project The forest howl, created by Jose Angel Osorio

And the Chinelo Ideatoon 2025 went to My Therapist is a Giraffe, created by Guada and Typpo

SecuenciArte awards three winning comics and gives a prize to the first place.
The winning comics were: Yabba Lavva by Beto Petiches and El despertar de una pillina by Gina Pillina.

The winning story of the Paal 2025 Picture Book contest was Vamos a la tiendita by Jimena Pérez Acevedo

In the case of Shortway there were two honorable mentions:

In addition, during the festival, other awards were presented:
- The commemorative Koch mezcal label illustration award for the festival went to Mauro Paz
- The VMX Showroom award for video games in development went to: Hellbound Inc., by the developer Templo
Finally, it is worth mentioning that the winners of the festival Gamification, designed and managed by Moira, were the group Ladrones.
