Selected Stories for Paal 2025

We already have the stories that were selected as finalists in the Paal Illustrated Children's Story or Picture Book call.

The selected creators will pitch their illustrated children's story to the jury during the Pixelatl 2025 Festival to win the first prize, which is the publication of the book during 2026.

The selected projects are:

• Vamos a la tiendita by Jimena Pérez Acevedo, Querétaro
• Paloma no hace caso by Gina Paola Preciado Acosta, Jalisco
• La boa que descubrió el sol by Irving González Hurtado and Liss Gallardo, Guanajuato
• Mamá Pato by Ram Orozco, State of Mexico
• Explorando con el abuelo by Jessica Robles Calderón, CDMX
