Last June 9, the awards ceremony for the 2026 edition of Shortway took place.
This year, instead of selecting one winning project and special mentions, the jury decided to award three projects as first place winners (splitting the contest benefits among the three projects).
Here we share the winning projects to keep a record in our blog.
In the order they were announced, the winning projects were:
Luz, Clota, Aleja y a veces Leonor, a project by Catalina Matamoros (Colombia)
Dense, a project by Jess Bianchi (Argentina)
Florecer, a project by Stephanie Decuir and Humberto Porras (Mexico)
