Hector Abraham Torres

Hector Abraham Torres joined Walt Disney Animation Studios in 2022 as a Rigging artist on “Moana 2”. Growing up in Piedra Negras Coahuila, Mexico, Abraham Torres dreamed of working at Disney since childhood. He studied at Anahuac Mayab University in Yucatan honed his craft through online courses. Prior to Disney Animation, Abraham Torres worked at several other animation studios but considers Maui his favorite animated character. “When I opened the character on my screen, I realized what I was achieving and I couldn’t contain my tears.”
