Humberto Cervera Baron is a freelance scriptwriter, director and producer. A former creative executive for Cartoon Network Latin America, he oversaw the development and production of shows like Frankelda Book of Spooks, Rey Mysterio vs. the Darkness, Toontorial and The Forgotten Forest, among others.
In 2019 he parted ways from the company to resume his career as an independent creator; since then he has created and collaborated in various creative projects like Fi-Tech: Robolution, his creator owned comic book series that recently published its final chapter. Other comic book projects include Mechzalcoatl, a latino futurist tale of resistance with giant robots and San Misterio, an exploration of mexican folklore through the lens of two sisters adventures in a magical town.
He is the writer and director of this year Cineminute for the Pixelatl festival.
Humberto specializes in short form content, having written and produced animated trailers for Joystick Ventures portfolio of videogames, including for Big Boy Boxing, W.I.L.D. Tactics and Hell of an Office.
Humberto has dual representation with Chatrone and Bash Entertainment.
