Fernanda G. Manzur

Director & DP of Women Wearing Shoulder Pads | Mexico

Fernanda G. Manzur is a Mexican director, cinematographer, and screenwriter specializing in stop-motion animation.

She directed three episodes and served as Director of Photography on four episodes of Adult Swim’s Women Wearing Shoulder Pads, where she additionally worked as Head of Visual Development. She was Director of Photography and 1st AD on the stop-motion feature Soy Frankelda, produced by Cinema Fantasma, and later DP on Acura’s 2025 ADX* stop-motion commercial.

She is currently developing independent films through the collective Gorgonas Films, including productions such as Tears Blossom and ¡Kihap!.

In 2021 she graduated with honors in Film and Television from CENTRO University, and has been teaching Animation for Film at her alma mater since 2023.

In 2021, she graduated with honors with a degree in Film and TV from Universidad CENTRO. Since early 2022, she has been part of the stop-motion animation studio Cinema Fantasma.
