Director of La Casa del Autor Zapopan | Mexico

Graduated from the University of Audiovisual Media (CAAV), Thalia is currently the director of La Casa del Autor Zapopan, an artist residency program following the French model La Maison Des Auters de Angoulême.

In her current role, she has launched national and international artist residencies, as well as training, mentoring, accompaniment and support programs for emerging comic book artists and authors.

Before that, Thalia was a partner and producer at Platypus Animation, a 2D animation boutique studio, where she produced TV shows, advertising spots, video clips, short films, etc., with clients such as Disney +, Turner, Discovery Kids and Bimbo, among others.

In addition, Thalia developed and produced new IP projects. Her first participation in cinema was as animation producer for Samuel Kishi's feature film Los Lobos which was awarded as best film at Berlinale - Berlin International Film Festival 2020.
