Director of Talent Acquisition at Skydance Animation | USA

Annwhitney is a recruiting professional with a specialty in animation and filmed entertainment recruitment. Currently, at Skydance Animation as the Director of Talent Acquisition, she focuses on artistic roles, technology, production, and overhead for Skydance’s animated series and feature films in their Los Angeles and Madrid, Spain locations.

Prior, she started her recruitment career through an internship turned job with NBCUniversal where she worked in University Recruiting and later moved to hiring for Universal’s Parks and Resorts. From there, Annwhitney was the Creative Recruiter for Illumination where she recruited for all roles. She also initiated Illumination’s first ever story and art trainee and apprentice programs. To round out her career, Annwhitney wouldn’t be where she is today without her internships at the Make-A-Wish Foundation, DreamWorks Animation, the Walt Disney Company, and a local non-profit Helen Woodward Animal Center. Her projects include Minions: Rise of Gru, Super Mario Bros, Migration, Despicable Me 4, Luck, and most recently WondLa. In her spare time Annwhitney likes to go for walks, read, craft, and hang out with her 3 cats.
