Fernando De Fuentes is the founder of Anima, with studios in Mexico City, Madrid and the Canary Islands, that has become the largest animation company in Latin America with more than 6500 minutes of animated content. He is the President & CEO at the studio.
He has produced 23 animated feature films including “Wizards & Giants”, “El Santos vs la Tetona Mendoza” and “Top Cat the Movie”, which was successfully released in more than 25 countries as well as “The Legends” saga (“The Legend of la Llorona”, “The Legend of the Mummies”, “The Legend of Chupacabras”, “The Legend of Charro Negro” and “Las Leyendas, the Origin”) the most outstanding saga in LATAM.
He also serves as Executive Producer of 150 episodes of “El Chavo” animated show, which has broken several ratings record throughout Latin America; “Legend Quest” and “Legend Quest; Masters of Myth” an Original Netflix Series, released worldwide and “Cleo & Cuquin” the most successful Spanish language television series and channel for preschoolers on YouTube with +10,5M subscribers only in his Spanish version.
Currently he is producing a wide variety of animated projects.
He is also managing partner at Diana Films, a film production company with a catalogue over 100 movies under ownership from the golden age of Mexican Cinema.
