Magdalena Osinska is an award-winning director who’s most recently directed Lucas Film’s ‘Star Wars: Visions’. Launched May 4th, 2023, on Disney+, the animated film is titled ‘I Am Your Mother’ (Venice TV winner, Annie nominee).

She’s worked at Aardman Animations (Chicken Run, Wallace and Gromit) for over a decade directing or developing features, specials, commercials and short form. She has directed stop-motion, CGI, 2D and live-action commercials including Wallace & Gromit’s “The Great Sofa Caper” and campaigns for Nestlé, DFS, the Ontario Power Generation and a film for Alzheimer’s Research UK starring Samuel L Jackson, Bryan Cranston and Christopher Eccleston.

She’s currently in production of her feature film “Ro” which is an international co-production between Poland, France and Finland, supported by Canal+.

Magdalena worked with Breakthru Films (Loving Vincent) on a feature project “The Flying Machine”, and award winning shorts “Spirits of the Piano” and “Zbigniev’s Cupboard.

She directed a children’s series development “Joyets” with Illuminated Films (The Snowman). A graduate of the National Film and Television School in Beaconsfield, UK, as well as the Polish Film School in Lodz and Art College in Warsaw.
