This year, we wanted to bring animation from Latvia to Pixelatl, a Baltic country whose history and culture are distant and largely unknown to Mexicans.

After being part of the USSR for 45 years, Latvia regained its independence in 1991. Therefore, the showcase we present spans the period from 2003 to 2023 and consists of 10 short films.
