Sofia is a Mexican artist currently living and working in Los Angeles. She has been featured in Variety Magazine and acted as a judge for the 2023 Annecy Film Festival. She’s known for her work as the executive producer, showrunner, and creator of the award-winning show Onyx Equinox.

Sofia first began as a Disney Imagineer doing concept illustrations for the Disney Parks but her true passion was for storytelling. She has storyboarded and directed for MARVEL, DISNEY, HASBRO, NICKELODEON, CARTOON NETWORK, and AMC. She has also helped lead pilots and develop internal pitches for DISNEY and AMC, as well as collaborated with SKYDANCE in their writer’s room.
