Aaron Augenblick is an animator, writer, and director. He is the founder of Augenblick Studios, an animation studio in Brooklyn, NY. Augenblick Studios has been operating for over 20 years producing content for television, film, and digital media. Notable productions include Ugly Americans (Comedy Central), The Jellies (Adult Swim), Superjail (Adult Swim), Wonder Showzen (MTV), Headspace Guide to Meditation (Netflix), Losers (Netflix), and Death Hacks (Snapchat). Aaron has also directed a number of award-winning short films, including Golden Age, which was an official selection of the Sundance Film Festival and won the Grand Prize in the Ottawa Film Festival. Most recently, Aaron cofounded a children’s programming company called Future Brain Media. Their first series is a show Augenblick created called City Island for PBS Kids. Aaron’s unique vision has established him as one of the leading animation directors in the world.
