Katie Wendt is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design and is currently a creative director at Augenblick Studios and Future Brain Media. She is the Animation Director of City Island (PBS Kids) and contributes to the writing for the series. She also directed Francine as a part of the Nickelodeon animated shorts program, and has also worked as the Animation Director or Lead Animator on shows such as: Headspace (Netflix), Ugly Americans (Comedy Central), The ¡Jaleas! (Adult Swim), Losers (Netflix) and Death Hacks (Snapchat).
