Irene Weibel is an Emmy Award winning executive creating and producing compelling content built for today’s kids. Currently, an independent producer, Weibel has held senior leadership positions with Corus Entertainment Toronto including her role as Head of Studio at Nelvana where she Executive Produced over twenty animated series.

Weibel was the Co-Founder of the company Sutikki which served as the Co-Producer of Moon and Me, commissioned by the BBC. Weibel was on the frontlines of structuring and raising the 30 million dollars of financing to produce the series. Weibel is currently Executive Producing a new series for Wild Brain/Family Channel titled Summer Memories. Wild Brain has worldwide distribution rights in the series. Her list of producing credits also include Hotel Transylvania the Television Series for Disney and Little Charmers and Mysticons for Nickelodeon.

Weibel is consulting with studios on Creative Production, Licensing and Distribution and is curating and managing a slate of animated series in development with studios including Nelvana and Mighty Animation among others.
