He is a pioneer of stop-motion animation in Mexico, and his short films Sin sostén and Hasta los huesos have won more than 50 awards and recognitions worldwide, including two Ariel Awards, Official Selection at the Cannes Film Festival, and a Cristal at the Annecy Festival. He was a Senior Animator on Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio and is currently writing and directing his first feature film, in co-production with China.
