Miguel has been involved in the international VFX scene since 2010. He has worked for: House of Cards, Jumanji, Roma by Alfonso Cuarón, Bardo by Alejandro González Iñárritu, among many other series, movies and advertisings.

In 2016 Miguel de Hoyos was nominated for the Ariel Award for the (AMACC), under the category of best VFX with the film La Delgada Línea Amarilla by Celso García and again in 2022 with Noche de Fuego by Tatiana Huezo.
