Luisa Fernanda Velásquez

Creative producer and Cofounder of Caballo Loco Studio | Colombia

Luisa Fernanda Velásquez is a producer, director, and photographer from Bogotá, Colombia. She holds a Master’s degree in Production for Animation, VFX, and Video Games from U-tad (Madrid). As co-founder of Caballo Loco Studio, she has worked in 2D/3D animation on projects known for their strong visual and emotional identity.

She is the creator of Astropackers, winner of the Girl Power Award from Cartoon Network at Pixelatl 2020 and Best Episodic at LALIFF 2023. Her work has been selected at international festivals such as MIFA (Annecy), Pixelatl, Ventana Sur, and Next Lab. She is also the author of Somosaltitud, a photography project recognized in Talento Joven Colombia 2021 for its perspective on territory and memory.

In addition to helping shape “Muñequitos y mundos”, she enjoys dancing folklore, laughing loudly, making friends, petting cats, is surprisingly good at remembering scents, and complains about her generation (and the next ones) like a little old lady.
