Director of the animated feature film Anina (2013), based on the novel Anina Yatay Salas by Sergio López Suárez, screened in more than 40 countries, won more than 20 international awards and has been part of HBO's programming (Latam and USA), Netflix (Latam), Globo (Br) among other channels.
He was the winner of the 1st prize (2016) in the narrative sequence category of the Uruguay Illustration Prize, and the 1st prize (2019) in the unitary image category of the Uruguay Illustration Prize.
Author of Soy un animal (2018), Libros del Zorro Rojo, published in 5 languages, and Los Carpinchos (2020), Ediciones Ekaré (esp y cat), Didier Jeunesse (fr), published in 16 languages, which was distinguished in the White Ravens catalog by the Munich Youth Library and selected by the New York Public Library as one of the best illustrated books of 2020 and 2021, awarded by the Cuatrogatos Foundation as one of the best Hispanic American albums of 2020, highlighted with a "starred review" in the American magazine Kirkus reviews and awarded as one of the best albums of 2020 by the Venezuelan Book Bank.
He is co-director, co-writer and producer of the cartoon series Dos Pajaritos (Estudio Palermo, Can Can Club and Señal Colombia), based on the book by Colombian author Dipacho, which as a project won the 2018 award The Ibero-American League to promote its development, and after its production and premiere, has won the first prize in the Short Content category of the international Prix Jeunesse 2022. Jury award for best series at the Annecy International Festival 2022, Best Latin American series at Chilemonos 2022.
He is currently working on the development of two new album book projects and on the adaptation of his book Los capybaras into an animated short film in co-production between Uruguay and France.
