Diego Porral is a director and animator from Spain. He graduated from Gobelins - L'École de l'Image in Paris in 2019, and since then has been working as a freelance animator for projects such as Love Death and Robots (at Titmouse), My Father's Dragon (at Cartoon Saloon), several Gorillaz Videoclips (at The Line Animation), and others.

But on the side, he has always been making his own short films to develop his style and sense of storytelling. These include A Day in the Park (2017), Blind Eye (2019) and Leopoldo el del Bar (2021). Combined, those short films have been selected in over 500 festivals around the world, been nominated to the Goya awards in Spain, selected for the student BAFTA's and Academy Awards among others.

At the moment he is directing several episodes for the recently announced show "Scavengers Reign" for HBO.
