She was born in Zapopan, Jalisco, she with a latent interest in writing.
At 16 she writes * Abjection *, a self-managed youth novel; It was published and distributed both on Amazon Kindle and Casa del Libro.
In 2015, Zaira entered the Bachelor of Communication Sciences with the dream of becoming a journalist and continue writing, however, during her last semesters she discovered the world of graphic narrative and fanzines, which led her to start in illustration. and self-publish graphic poetry: Ocelos de Barro and Caminos que Conversan (2017-2019), Petricor (2019) and Después (2021).
After graduating, she focuses on audiovisual projects for the local scene; Later, she worked as a scriptwriter and post-producer on state public television.
In 2021 she did her postgraduate studies at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, specializing in illustrated albums: * A Box of Matches * (2022) and * Apapacho * (2022).
She currently works as a freelance Audiovisual Communicator, at the same time that she develops a comic project as a resident of La Casa del Autor Zapopan.
