He started in the animation industry by refounding the 23lunes studio in 2005, and directing it for 10 years. After his experience as an entrepreneur, Sergio has gone through several studios in Barcelona, ​​such as Furia Digital and MinimoVFX. He has also worked for Primal Shape in Italy, Axis Studios in Scotland, and Outpost VFX in England.

His experience covers the area of ​​production and business management, having held relevant positions as producer and executive producer. Sergio has worked on many different animation and visual effects projects such as TV Series (LEGO City Adventures for Nickelodeon, or Avenue 5 for HBO), in-Game AAA cinematics (Gears of War 5 * for Microsoft), Animated Film (Justin and the Sword of Valor* for Kandor Graphics), Film (The Green Knight, by David Lowery, or Ender's Game by Gavin Hood) .

Almost two years ago, Sergio began working as studio manager with Alberto Mielgo, recent winner of the Oscar for the best animated short The Windshield Wiper.

His last job premiered in May 2022, as Head of Production and Executive Producer of * JÍBARO *, one of the episodes of the third installment of the acclaimed Netflix series * Love Death and Robots *.
