Mireia Vilanova

Producer and Production Manager | Spain/USA

Mireia Vilanova is a Barcelona-born, LA-based producer and production manager. She currently serves as Production Manager at Cartuna - an award-winning, Brooklyn based, full-service animation studio. At Cartuna, she has overseen projects for MTV, Nickelodeon, VH1, Comedy Central and Country Music Television, among others. Before joining Cartuna, Mireia worked as an independent producer, producing projects like the 2021 Tribeca official selection There are Bunnies on Fire in the Forest. In the live action space, she has produced content for Netflix, Google, Indeed, Grindr, Hillman Grad Productions, Barça TV, and the Royal Spanish Swimming Federation, and worked in the Latin America and US Hispanic distribution division of Entertainment One.

Mireia holds an MFA from the Peter Stark Producing Program at the University of Southern California and a BA in Audiovisual Communication from Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona. She is a 2021 Film Independent Project Involve Producing Fellow, member of the Bafta Newcomers Program and a La Caixa Foundation Fellow.
