Cruz has been a CFX artist at Sony since 2017 where he worked on the Oscar and Golden Globe winner, Spider-man Into The Spiderverse.

Among the movies in which Cruz has worked with Sony have been:

  • Over The Moon. Nominated to the Annie Awards and the Oscar for best animated film on 2020.
  • Vivo. Film nominated to several Annie Awards and nominated to best animated film at the Peoples Choice Awards on 2021.
  • Hotel Transylvania 4. Film released on January on Amazon Prime.
  • The Sea Beast. Film recently released on Netflix with the 94% of approval on Rotten Tomatoes and fantastic reviews.

Currently Cruz is working on Spider-man Across the Spiderverse, which will premiere on 2023.
