Ana Ramírez González

Visual development and Story artist, Pixar | Mexico/USA


Ana Ramírez is an illustrator and visual development artist at Pixar. She is proudly Mexican originally from León, Guanajuato.

From a very young age, Ana Ramírez was interested in the arts, exploring a variety of disciplines, but it was not until high school that she became interested in film and traditional animation. Both in Mexico and in France she studied plastic arts, and then Experimental Animator by the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts).

Ana worked on various projects for Google, DreamWorks TV, Jib Jab and in 2015 she joined Pixar Animation Studios as a Visual Development Artist collaborating on many of the projects that the company has developed since then.

She more recently transitioned and started working in Pixar's Story department as well.
