Madelein has worked as a freelance illustrator doing character design and concept art for various studios and projects, both animated and advertising.

She is the creator and director of "El Bosque Olvidado" for Cartoon Network Latin America, a project that won Girl Power: Pitch me the future in 2018, and which premiered its pilot episode in 2019.

She is currently Lead Artist and Assistant Director at Mighty animation.
