Pradip Romay


Pradip Romay is an award-winning multidisciplinary storyteller with an accomplished career in filmmaking, brand strategy, and game development. Originally from Guadalajara, Mexico, he began his studies in Film and Television at UCLA in 2000 and later specialized in Game Design at the California Institute of the Arts in 2015.

Romay launched his career in 2002 as a sound designer at Z Films, contributing to films such as About the Living and Asesino en Serio. He went on to serve as a sound editor on the Academy Award-winning City of God and produced the award-winning stop-motion short Invasion of Planet Mercury. His credits also include composing music and supervising post-production sound for Round 5 for Televisa.

In 2008, he co-founded 3RD EYE, a content agency based in Mexico City. Between 2010 and 2013, he directed documentary shorts and led brand campaigns for Corona, Doritos, Cerveza Modelo, and Aeromexico Airlines, earning a Cannes Gold Lion. His collaborations with Guillermo Arriaga, Alejandro González Iñárritu, and Guillermo del Toro further cemented his industry reputation.

A strong advocate for social and environmental causes, Romay helps brands transition to sustainable practices. In 2022, he founded Rewilder Games, a U.S.-based studio, and its sibling, Templo, based in Mexico City. He is currently leading development on Hellbound Inc. and Rewilder, a planet-positive gaming platform.
