Ivette Valencia

Freelance Animator and Instructor at SAE | México

Originally from Mexico City, she studied Digital Animation at SAE Institute Mexico, obtaining a double degree, the second issued by Middlesex University in England, graduating with First Class honors.

She earned a Master’s degree in Storyboard and Concept Art from Coco School. She also completed the “Classical Animation” diploma at Vancouver Film School, graduating with honors. Her graduation project Ignies et Glacies won in its category at the Uruvatti International Film Festival and the Gona Film Award, and received an honorable mention from the Marvelous Festival in New York.

She was awarded the Young Creators scholarship in 2023 by the National System for the Support of Creation.

She currently works as an animator for films and commercials, is part of the faculty at SAE Institute, and independently develops creative projects.
