Irene Melis

She studied Film and Television at Centro. Since 2012, she has worked as Director of Photography at Cinema Fantasma, a studio specializing in stop motion. Some of the projects she has worked on include: Revoltoso (2016), Lado C short films for Cartoon Network LA (2015), El Tigre Vine for Nickelodeon (2016), music videos High and Low by Who Made Who and In a Drawer by Band of Horses (2016), the Cartoon Network LA animated series Toontorial, Rick and Morty IDs for Adult Swim, the series Los Sustos Ocultos de Frankelda for HBO Max (2019), and the feature film El príncipe de los Sustos for HBO Max.
She recently completed production on the feature film Soy Frankelda and the series Women Wearing Shoulderpads for Adult Swim, where in addition to serving as DP, she also directed one episode.
She is currently working on the pre-production of the feature film La Balada del Fénix.
