She holds a degree in Visual Arts for Plastic Expression from the University of Guadalajara. She received a CONACYT scholarship to complete her thesis titled "Visual Arts and Their Relationship with Six Stop-Motion Animated Short Films Created in Jalisco."
She co-wrote the article "Aesthetic and Symbolic Explorations of Death and Childhood in the Stop-Motion Short Films by Female Filmmakers from Jalisco" published in the Spanish journal "Con A de animación" in 2022. She has worked on various animation projects, focusing on the art department, including the most recent one, Pinocchio by Guillermo del Toro. She is currently working on her debut project, Dolores, a stop-motion animated short film that received FOCINE support in 2022 and the Grodman Scholarship from the University of Guadalajara.
