Roy & Arturo Ambriz, Mexican writers, directors, and producers, founders of Cinema Fantasma, a renowned stop-motion animation studio based in Mexico City. They wrote and directed the acclaimed stop-motion medium-length film Revoltoso and the award-winning series Frankelda’s Book of Spooks (HBO Max, 2021). They recently completed their first feature film, I Am Frankelda —the first stop-motion feature film in Mexico— which premiered at the Guadalajara International Film Festival and Annecy 2025. They are currently in pre-production of their next film, The Ballad of the Phoenix. They also produced the animated series Mujeres con hombreras for Adult Swim.
