Frida Sánchez

Frida Sánchez Machuca (Tijuana, 1997) is an interdisciplinary artist. She studied Visual Arts at the UNAM School of Arts and Design. In 2019 she begins her training as a 2D animator. She curated the fifth installment of “Soft Screen”, an animation show based in California. She has worked alongside several emerging music artists, including Rayoadentro, Outside Vatos, and Rina XO. Her most recent music video, “HOSTAGE”, was selected and screened at two renowned animation festivals: ANIMASIVO (2022) and the ANNECY animation festival (2023).
