Women in the world of Animation

MUMA is a group that emerges to create a support network for women working in the animation industry in Mexico. It emerged after the MUWUA exhibition that was organized to boost the work of the women artists involved, but due to the success of the event, the interaction between the participants, and the interest of the public, the event becomes the first official action of the group , which months later decides to change its name to MUMA: Women in the world of animation.

Being aware of the limited presence of women in executive positions, MUMA seeks to become a nonprofit movement to provide support and advice for the professional development of women, seeking equity in the animation industry in Mexico and in Latin America.
