The filmography of Luis Tellez includes the short films: La princesa de Trujillo (2008), La increíble historia del niño terrible y la niña pájaro (2009), El gran viaje (2010), La cosa que más duele en el mundo (2010), El niño y el viento (2012) and Requesón (2012).
In 2008 he produced and animated the short film "Jacinta", directed by Karla Castañeda, wich was awarded Best Iberoamerican Animated Short in the XXII edition of Guadalajara International Film Festival.
He has won the Ariel Award in 2002, 2009 and 2013, the Xiberras Prize, the FIPRESI Prize, the Jury Prize at Annecy in 2001, FICG Prize and the Prize of Film Festival Abu Dhabi Middle East, among others.
He has won schollarships for FECA, FONCA and the Rockefeller Foundation. He is currently working on the film "Inzomnia", which is under development. For this production, he founded the company Inzomnia SA de CV, along with other animation professionals.
