Aram Yacoubian leads International Kids Acquisitions and Co-Productions at Netflix, specifically programming from non-English speaking markets. During his time in this role, Aram has collaborated with producers, broadcasters and distributors from around the world to bolster Netflix's offering of local Kids content from markets with rich animation industries, such as Latin America, South Europe, Japan, Korea and India. Aram has also worked with global animation studios, such as Dreamworks Animation and Nickelodeon, to grow Netflix's portfolio of kids content with original productions and existing series.
Prior to his role in Kids Content Acquisition, Aram was a part of the company's Content Strategy & Analysis team, where he supported the company's content acquisition efforts, developing programming strategy, deal valuations and competitive analysis, through which he helped shape Netflix's Kids Originals and Acquisitions strategy.
Aram studied Business Economics at UCLA and began his career in Finance & Corporate Strategy before joining Netflix.
